One more thing, one the Olimex is connected, the voltage drops from 3.3V to 1.5V cca. Could the chips be bad? how can I know that? am I missing something from the connection or command? I tested 4 of them, 2 in the gig and 2 in the pcb (soldering n desoldering) with the same result. This happens also if I try avrude directly $ avrdude -c avrispmkII -p x32a4u

I first tried directly in the PCB without success.
ATMEL DRAGON PROGRAMMER HOW TO
There are clear steps on how to use the dev.enviroment to compile and flash. I am building an Synth from an Open Source project of a respectable brand (Mutable Instruments, Git ). Some said that is because is a fake-copy, could that be or is just a rookie mistake? I am trying to flash an ATxmega32A4U, already tryed many thing.
